We are looking for a part time sales associate to join our team!
Must be: jewelry lovin'; handmade lovin'; people lovin'; ottawa lovin'
(10-15 hours a week)
*hours will increase over Xmas season.
** we are looking for someone that can provide a long term commitment.
Duties include:
- Providing customers with excellent service
- Sales transactions/front cash
- Assisting with merchandising and creating store window displays
- Web-store management (training provided)
- Daily cleaning and organizing
- General upkeep of shop
- Assisting with jewelry assembly
- General administrative duties - ie. emailing, filing, phone, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years retail experience.
- Passion, knowledge and involvement of jewelry and basic jewelry design.
- Creative and artistic.
- Support handmade goods.
- Excellent computer skills
- Must have lap top to bring to work daily.
- Graphic/web design an asset
- Enjoy meeting and interacting with people.
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent, self-motivated, enthusiastic and involved.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Excellent decision making and problem resolution skills
- Chalkboard art skills an asset ;)
